Imo the entirety history of humanity has been the development of power structures, the abuse of said power, and the collapse of said structures due to the abuse. Highly unlikely in my lifetime or the next 100 but I personally see a system of horizontal power where no person holds leverage over another as to prevent the abuse we see throughout our time on this planet. As the saying goes, power corrupts.
