I can understand the rationale behind lobbying existing. Theoretically, lobbying just specific groups of people trying to get their needs heard. But the addition of unlimited corporate money just means lobbying is how companies can control the government.

I don’t know how well it can be reformed tbh. Like giving rid of citizens united is one thing that would help but I don’t know if there are ways to have it without these problems coming up again. I don’t know the intimate details about lobbying though so this is an uninformed opinion.
