How is this any worse than 4 counties in Michigan controlling the entire electoral vote? Unless you live in one then, your vote is essentially worthless. Btw those 4 counties are blue while the rest of the state is typically red.

what does the population density of Michigan look like? like, are there more people living in those counties..? are there less living in red counties?bc im looking at two maps rn that say the areas that "control the electoral vote" just, have more people living there.

I have done the math from the latest (2024) population counts from each county. The red counties combined have more population than all 4 of those counties combined. Individually, yes they have more citizens than any other county, but the majority of the population does not reside within them. Yet, still, those counties count more towards the electoral votes than ALL of the red counties combined.

Electoral votes aren’t based on districts dude. That’s just the majority of a state voting blue. Completely different than gerrymandering.
