I support the idea behind their organization and high-level efforts, and appreciate that they’re receptive to criticism over their methodology. I would like an explanation for how these inconsistencies happened in the first place though

The explanation was given by them themselves: The numbers didn’t matter, the Track AIPAC leaders determined which candidate they liked and gave out the green/red graphic accordingly, whether the number is $0 or not

They also sometimes flagged literally ANY donor overlap between pro-Israel (or simply pro-Jewish) organizations and candidates, which was a bit misleading and not done consistently

I know the big one I saw them getting called out on was an organization that is pro Israel & had Israel in its name but either last year or this year changed the Israel to Jewish.
