Find another hobby. Most people give up TERF/racist/etc ideology when they find something more interesting to do. Have you ever tried embroidery? Or building model ships in bottles? We have enough TERFs. I want more tiny replicas ships.

Is wanting only biological women in women’s sports “transphobic”? Or not wanting biological men convicted of sex crimes in a women’s prison? Or not wanting to be called “Cis women” or “womb havers”? Or just not appreciating the very misogynistic things traditionally trans women will say like “it’s giving fish”?

It infact is, yes Studies show that after HRT trans athletes show generally weaker output compared to their cis counterparts The prison system itself is a cesspool, I want radical reform that would cover this Cis is a medical term. You can’t “choose” not to be labeled as such, if you identify as the sex you were born as you are cis

Finally, your last bit is valid for you to care about, but at the same time kind of telling you go “well you can’t call me cis” then immediately start to police other’s speech.

Then again, I’ve never heard anyone but a cis white girl say “it’s giving” anything

What studies are you referring to?

There are plenty, though no general consensus has been clearly made considering the amount of trans athletes that exist are less than 0.01%

People are allowed to call biological women cis even though it is typically used in a disrespectful way. Not wanting blatant misogyny to be socially acceptable isn’t really policing others speech. You are using mental gymnastics.

“Used in a disrespectful way” Please tell me how you would ever do so that isn’t equivalent to claiming trans people are the ones saying “it’s giving fish”

I'm honestly up to freaking HERE with the sports shit. As a female athlete, it's feeling insanely disrespectful to ME atp. Like we're just sooo damn weak and pathetic and so dramatically physically inferior that someone with slight male hormonal fluxes will kill us all with her thumbs. Like it's genuinely the most serious topic in the nation. With EVERYTHING ELSE GOING ON. Plus, I have high testosterone for a girl, I bet I'd be flagged/banned under weird police monitoring of who can & can't-

Play certain sports. Trans women, on a personal level, can come off a type of way. But. One must think of how fucking hard her entire life has been. What she has to deal with on the daily. That can harden a person. Then, one must examine their own feelings of envy/jealousy. I think a lot of terfy-ness has to do with women getting defensive and envious.

When it comes to label, unfortunately we all have to deal with irritating labels until society as a whole finally decides to stop giving af and just let everyone exist as they are And. In a patriarchy this rigid, we ALL have internalized misogyny to work through. Including trans women. Some trans women do refuse to acknowledge or work through their internalized misogyny. Which is FRUSTRATING. But the trans experience is hard enough, so eh

You legit can't put links here or the comment gets removed. But NIH, Karolinska Institute, BMJ Group, Them.us, ResearchGate, etc etc etc There's BOATLOADS of sources, data, evidence, articles. Quick google search, bam you've got thousands of sources.

The reason I’m asking is the usual “sources” all say that there isn’t enough evidence to say concretely that there isn’t a disadvantage

Correct, kinda. Most (of the most recent) sources I flicked through conclude that there's room for slight disparities. Like all in all, on average, there's little to no advantage. But there are some slight outliers. In the same exact way that studies note there's little to no advantage for women with high testosterone/higher androgens. But there's room for slight disparities, and slight outliers.

Problem is the human condition is varied and not easily sorted Also trans athletes make up less than a percent of a percent of athletes. To provide adequate proof of something usually the needed threshold is 5%
