Basic norms and assumptions of reality and existence in a productive society in most developed countries btw. Workers bargain with employers. Some companies are even worker-owned and work fine with much greater benefits to the participants

Also ignores the history of labor. Society was largely self-employed craftspeople who may or may not have participated in guilds depending on the person and their community. Then the Industrial Revolution happened and put all of those people out of work and when they could no longer afford to support themselves they had to sell themselves to factories and shops. It was never a choice.

We’re literally set up in a way that allows people to become their own boss by being an entrepreneur if that’s what they choose to do.
