My cousins go to SA twice a year. I will hopefully go with them one of these times soon. I haven’t had any opportunity to go to Ecuador or Greece yet

I visited Cape Town, Kruger, and Johannesburg. Great stuff to do in all of them. The ecosystems around Cape Town are unlike anywhere else on earth. The safari was great. And Cape Town and joburg both have amazing museums. So much history and culture

The history in Greece was mind-blowing. I have to begrudgingly admit I get why people are so into Greek history. Seeing specific artifacts I recognized and had only read about was incredible

And Ecuador was great. Quito is an awesome city. I was able to see such amazing ecosystems in the Galapagos and was able to experience Andean culture on the mainland.

When you’re in Cape Town I recommend the seafood. You can get so much for pretty cheap due to the currency exchange rate. And do a van tour into the fynbos!

Its pretty but i don’t like that everything is covered in graffiti. Completely ruins what should be beautiful architecture. Also lots of sketchy people i didnt like it

Oh okay, the only reason I want to check out Portugal is bc of Nazaré. There are massive waves there (they can go up to 100ft in the winter!), with some really good surfing according to one of my friends

I went to Nazare but it was in the summer. I loved it there. Lisbon was alright but I hated Porto

God Capetown’s coast is so beautiful, fun fact they have shark kits on all the boats bc of just how many great whites there are (although apparently as of late you’ll see less bc of orcas hunting them according to my friends there)

I also heard the orca thing when I was there. Our whale watching was canceled due to high winds. But we ended up seeing humpback whales breaching just by standing on the seaside cliffs
