It’s literally layup for democrats if they put forth a half-decent candidate and so far it’s looking like they can’t even manage to do that… Dark times.

A layup against Shaq if the republicans keep doing what they’re doing for the next two years

Oh, they can. They ABSOLUTELY can. The purpose of a system is what it does - not what it’s trying to sell itself as. If the “opposition” never seems to materialize a candidate that can… well, effectively Oppose… they might not actually be opposition.

Hey guys, I don’t like generic politician A who won’t keep screwing over so I’m gonna split the vote against THE AMERICAN HITLER. Real smart.

And I’m not trying to imply the Republicans have, like, cucked Dems into submission or anything. That’s illogical. That’s just dumb. But I DO think it’s extremely interesting that *every single major company that makes major political donations ALWAYS makes sure to donate to both parties.*

“Real smart.” You are describing the average american. We are college educated - the average american is not, and reads below a sixth grade level. It’s not smart at all. But it happens again, and again, and again, and again…

Because they’re covering their bases. They want to be in the pocket of whoever gets elected even if they aren’t their ideal candidates. We can blame citizens united for alot of this shit but once again, not the time to deal with that.

Yes. We are in agreement. NO MATTER WHO’S ELECTED - they’ve got the same companies in their ear with lobbying dollars, and Very consistent goals. And yeah, Citizens United is. Wow

Yes, which is exactly why a third party would flop and cost us the country. The average American will vote for whatever fox or cnbc or tik tok of whatever tells them too. I don’t like Kamala, or Newsom or any of them really, maybe Pritzker. I probably would vote republican in any other time but I will be the most dedicated supporter of whoever because we can’t have more maga.

Absolutely, they’re corrupt shitheads who’s main goal is to make the 1% money. But right now some have worse goals. John Roberts grave will be my personal favorite public bathroom. He enabled and continues to enable all of this shit

it really is unfortunate how well fascism serves itself to creating figureheads cause the enablers get to skirt under the blame curtain

Gotta pray to God Vance steers the ship away from MAGAville and into respectable moderate Republican territory…

I’ll drink to that. Hopefully whoever gets elected next has the balls to punish some people. We can't afford another failure like the civil war reconstruction

Nah, thoughts and prayers are a waste. And Vance will have the same people puppeting him as Trump, just look who paid for his paw school. Except Vance is actually smart, and that's scary

Bro Vance went from being a democrat hating Trump to becoming the VP. He’s apart of the institution. He’s deadass our next president and he’s going to continue with the same plays as Trump.

You’re probably not wrong but one can hope… was just kinda hoping he’d go back to his old ways but you’re probably right, that ship has sailed. But yeah… Vance is very smart and might be a lot more effective than Trump because he knows how to articulate himself in a way that sounds reasonable so that is scary.
