Yeah Trump always chooses backstabbers to work with (Pence also) but it doesn’t mean Vance is wrong, you can read his post. Not to mention he’s still friends with Tucker Carlson which is probably the biggest alarm.

Because he’s a wannabe-fascist, as I just said. If there were a way for Trump to crown himself permanent dictator king of America, he would do it in a heartbeat. This is not a characteristic we want to see in the leader of (what I consider to be) the world’s greatest democratic nation. Luckily, thanks to the brilliance and foresight of the founding fathers, this country has many checks and balances that have prevented him from doing that. Doesn’t mean he didn’t want to.

A coup isn’t defined by its deadliness. Chernobyl was also deadlier than Jan 6, but we don’t call that a coup. Jan 6 was an attempted coup because Trump tried to overturn the results of the election with his fake elector plot, and then when that failed, he directed his mindless drone base to attack and infiltrate the US Capitol in an attempt to slow or stop congress’s counting of electoral votes.
