I think this post is referring to commonly known estimation that Abraham (the father of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) was most likely born in Ur, Mesopotamia around the Bronze Age — depending on how you calculate it it could be the early, mid, or even on the outliers late Bronze Age (some estimates even put his birth prior to the Bronze Age). I don’t know if that’s what OP meant but as someone with a degree in history, I do believe he is referring to that idea

This societal collapse occurred roughly 1200 years before Jesus. Anyways, the era OP errantly mislabeled as the “Bronze Age” is known as “Classical Antiquity” amongst historians. This era is characterized by it by the rise of and flourishing of Greco-Roman civilizations and eventual Roman hegemony over the Mediterranean.

I wonder why they call it CHRISTianity. As a lapsed Catholic 99% of the old testament is pointless exposition. It’s like imagine they have a 3:30 minute movie before Blade Runner 2049 where it’s literally just a documentary on René Descartes writing “Discourse on the Method” and ends somewhere after Watson and Crick. Somewhere in that movie people hypothesize about clones existing. Also in the middle there’s Lincoln doing the emancipation proclamation.

I get Catholics like to ignore the Old Testament, but for many Christians it’s is considered just as important, even if they don’t follow the old law. The cult of Christianity is directly built off of those Bronze Age myths. My post never once insinuated Jesus himself was from the Bronze Age.
