It’s just not being used for good whatsoever and its benefits do not outweigh its costs. Generative AI has been used to replace thousands of jobs and destroys the environment just by existing. There are scientific uses for AI, in which case it should be used for science (it’s not like you’re able to go out and purchase a sample of a research AIDS virus, you shouldn’t be able to do it with AI)
