Fuck they even cancelled the independent watchdog report because it was heading in the direction that 2024 was lost due to DNC abandoning the voter base to appease the “moderates” and far-right They are complicit in the self-coup being orchestrated by the heritage foundation and the Republican Party

I agree but what’s the motive here for the DNC? Wouldn’t you think that their main goal would be maintaining some sort of pre trump moderate status quo? Or do you think it’s the case that they’d rather have a fascist in charge than a socialist?

Ahhh I forgot to respond to you I’m sorry!! If I’m being honest I don’t know, I think it might be a blend of the two maybe? Possibly wanting to preserve or restore the global status quo (especially our imperial empire within it), but I’m also thinking that they’d prefer fascism to giving any ground to anti-capitalist candidates. Ultimately, billionaires are funding both parties egregiously so maybe fascism is the “last stand” for maintaining capitalism in an increasingly anti-capitalist world
