I haven’t done much research into who might fill the space left by Spirit, but I lowkey feel like Southwest has an opportunity here. Frontier could take some, but they weren’t as much of a direct competitor

I just mean take over the customer share and possibly continue to pressure the big 3. Spirit was unique in that it directly competed with the big 3 on their routes. Frontier is more seasonal, and airlines like Avelo tend to fly between smaller airports
