Misinformation in the medical field violates the Hippocratic oath. While it’s not a hard and fast rule, doctors generally wont intentionally misinform you.

I know. I trust my doctors and my friends in the medical field. I have tremendous respect for the profession. That is why I think they ought to be held to a standard where if they intentionally and knowingly spread serious misinformation, they should go to prison.
