Guy took 11 million from AIPAC, signed a gun control pledge, and was taking a disability pledge that stated he was 100% disabled during the time he was purportedly working on his family's farm. If KY wants a "100% disabled" faker Israeli sellout instead of Massie I'm sorely disappointed that you were all so lucky as to have elected Massie in the first place.
Ok I reread. Your replies very much confused me because you were talking shit about Gallrien and then when you started saying RINO I thought you were talking about Massie. But yeah environmental degradation and selling stuff off to the rich is a very Republican policy position at this point. Teddy Roosevelt would throw hands.
In my opinion, and this may be a quite Americanized idealistic view of Republican politics, the bulk of it comes from private money in politics and lobbying from industry. Private landowners who get massive swathes and develop and/or other industries that can build on that land are the only ones who can afford and benefit from it
Like I’m a biologist who lives in a rural area and I genuinely wish conservative politicians actually cared about conserving the nature which makes America such a beautiful place. I’m someone who cares a lot about historical preservation and folk culture too. But Republican policies are actively hurting that.
So in that sense, I kind of see the selling off of public lands en masse or even the acceptance of stuff like that as being a RINO (because you're colluding government and industry) significantly more so than opposing some sect of Republicans thats currently in power on the Epstein files (because thats just routing out corruption)
