I know why people are saying this because there is a slippery slope towards eugenics, but we’re not there yet. They’re not saying they want their kids to have autism, but they’re trying to say that there’s nothing wrong with it and it’s not a problem that needs to be solved. *However*, that’s well and good for high-functioning autism, but I don’t see anything wrong with potential treatments (that are tested properly ofc) for negative effects of autism, such as being nonverbal
