I think there can be a fetishization of conservatives or broadly “rural aesthetics” because of like perceived masculinity. But the reality is that conservatism is a harmful ideology and the cultural values that force that masculinity on everyone (not just those who naturally prefer it) will harm a relationship and lead to a lack of sexual respect.

Like if you like masculine rural men go get you one but make sure he’s somebody that will treat you with respect and is comfortable enough in his own skin to not act shitty if being vulnerable or makes makes him feel “feminine.” That’s one of the many problem with conservatism.

You really arent looking hard enough then. I know masculine rural men who aren’t just liberals they’re socialists. I think that obsessing over one’s masculinity can lead to being more conservative, and conservatism tends pressure people into being more masculine. But plenty of people are just naturally masculine regardless of politics.

The difference is just that men who don’t determine their self worth based on how masculine they are are more willing to just be themselves. And men who naturally aren’t masculine may be more likely to embrace non-conservative ideologies.
