People who rally behind a person or message for the intention of correcting the world or community, even if opposing arguments are proposed, the leader will sway them away from the truth. There’s no truth in politics, just opinions. It’s just deciding who’s morally correct is where people get cutthroat

good job! some additional characteristics tho, the leader is not made accountable for any wrongdoing by any authorities, a high level of us-vs-them rhetoric, preoccupation with making money, and tendencies towards some sort of abuse (in the case of MAGA it would be financial) there are more but these feel the most relevant. i’d like to clarify this isn’t about conservatism or republicans as a whole, it is specifically about the dogmatic MAGA people

I would absolutely agree with both cults and being about maga. However the same claim could be said about the left version of maga. The woke ideology has lead to more and more civil unrest and violence in the country because someone opposes the beliefs of their cult. Democrats and republicans are absolutely against violence, but the extreme of the left is. The right isn’t
