Ok, well I know advanced biology, as I have a biology degree and am employed as a biologist. Plants need CO2. Removing all CO2 from the atmosphere would be bad both for plants and the global climate. But that’s not at all what we are trying to do. Humanity has added too much CO2 to the atmosphere too quickly, leading to rapid climate change. We are just trying to get it back down to normal levels.
Well yeah, we need to stop artificially producing it. We make too much, it’s making the global climate imbalanced. You do know carbon dioxide is produced naturally? There was plenty of CO2 in the atmosphere before humans started burning fossil fuels. If we stop producing it, the concentration will stop increasing so much. But there will still be enough CO2 being produced naturally for all the plants. They don’t rely on fossil fuels for all their CO2.
