What this basically does in practice (oversimplified) is make it impossible for us to divorce from Israel. Practically it doesn’t change that much, we already give Israel basically everything… but if this gets passed, this status quo will be impossible to change, even if we get an antizionist president. That is the purpose of this bill, to make a divorce impossible even if/when an anti-Israel president wins.
