…the US wasn’t even AROUND for 90% of history. Also it sounds to me that you’re learning more that history doesn’t have heroes and villains but is filled with shades of grey.

the amount of times we have single handedly toppled foreign governments for the sake of maintaining economic power (through companies like United Fruit Co) in those countries is truly villainous
