I mean I go by things situationally and in this situation, I can’t stay in the middle. However I think sometimes there’s a difference between being in the middle, and trying to bring peace. U can be kind to everyone while still standing up for your beliefs and fighting for those who can’t vs someone who just doesn’t care about either side which is the big issue. At some point (once trump is out of office) this country will NEED to reunite or else we will never make it out of this hole

There’s other political principles that people care about too, other than which side is less racist. Not saying I disagree but this isn’t a very strong argument.

Being a moderate doesn’t make you moderately racist, dumbass. Having moderately racist beliefs makes you moderately racist.

I think, in this context, “moderate” means being okay with people that believe in racist ideals. I don’t mind sharing a space with my grandma and visiting her and still loving her, but you bet every time she says something racist I’ll call her out on it. I don’t think she’ll change her mind at her age, but at least she now knows using slurs around me will get me to call her out. If you weren’t to say anything in those situations, you’re not racist, but you are allowing racism to continue

Nah. Just woke up. But to deny this would just be to deny obvious realities. You can think the experts are smart but they’re also human and humans tend to push their preferred agendas on people.
