If you’re for illegal immigration, you don’t get to complain about housing prices, and not being able to get a job.

The causes are not illegal immigration, it’s a mismatch in the purchasing power and value of money. Houses are more expensive to build, interest rates are higher, affordable housing isn’t being built, and the cost/risk of loans, inability to save, or the quality of homes make it hard for people to actually own a home. Companies are cutting corners (and wages), replacing jobs with automation/ai, and more focused on the stability of their company rather than onboarding.

This guy thinks anyone here illegally can buy a house to begin with, let alone has the money

There is literally zero evidence that illegal immigration notably contributes to rising prices, what are you stupid?

Are immigrants lazy and only drain resources or do they steal all the jobs

Right, all those illegal immigrants… buying houses above market value and pushing up the prices?

There’s rising costs bc illegal immigrants are taking housing. Theres less supply. It’s economics. If you get rid of all the illegal immigrants. There would be a lot more supply. So prices would go down.

ah yes the 15 million homes sitting empty right now to artificially inflate the cost of housing isn’t the problem. it’s those damn immigrants

15 million homes that are empty? I’m not defending the huge conglomerates like black rock. Obviously what they’re doing is bad. I’m saying if you got rid of all the illegal aliens, more housing would become available and prices would go down. Its logic.

right so there’s a clear villain in this situation, and you’re going after the people just trying to survive like you are?

Do you think rental rates go down when people move out of the place they’re a tenant in? Because most of those people are tenants, not owners.

When my lease ends and I move out of my current house, do you think my landlord is gonna charge the next guy less?

I agree. Everything is getting more expensive, and the purchasing power of money is getting worse. Ai is a huge problem too. I agree with you. My point still stands

Yeah, you’re making me the enemy. What I want is for the people to uphold the law, and for people to come here legally. Illegal immigration is allowing more drugs to come in, which gives more control to the cartels, and it’s allowing more sexual trafficking and kidnappings to happen. They are trying to survive, but they’re leaving their home countries because they ruined it. They need to focus on making their countries better instead of making ours actively worse. They don’t want to assimilate.

… does it still stand tho? I mean do you even have a single shred of evidence that illegal immigration contributes to the inflation of these prices?

Actually most drugs come in through corrupt border guards. Why would any criminal gang use illegal immigrants as a drug mule? That’s literally picking the only group that can get in legal trouble by existing. They could (and do) pay off border police to either act as mules, or simply just let them through.

How is illegal immigration “allowing more sex trafficking”? You’re just making shit up.

You don’t think the cartels have anything to do with open borders? How do you think people get in here illegally?

most “illegal immigrants” are people who came here legally, but overstayed their visa

So to be clear, you’re saying we should stop the cartels human trafficking, by imprisoning illegal immigrants, a group of people who are primarily the VICTIMS of the cartels trafficking. Do you think the people coming here are cartel members? No bro, don’t be stupid. They live in the fucking country their cartel operates in. The people they’re trafficking work on fucking farms and shit.

Like, would you arrest and imprison the people Epstein trafficked? No? You’d imprison Epstein? So why are you advocating to arrest the victims of cartel trafficking MORE than you advocate to arrest the fucking cartel members?
