My opinion on it is that both sides hate America and her values. I literally can't think of any other reason that they would both be itching to trample our constitutional rights at every opportunity

It honestly goes without saying too often that these rights are not granted to us by some piece of paper written by a bunch of English nobles in the 18th century, they were given to us by God. These politicians notably lack a fear of God when they act so overtly against them.
