Our investment in Ukraine is the single most successful military campaign in human history and if you described the situation to any President since Truman other than Biden and Trump we would’ve been sending way, way more money. We’ve crippled the military and economy of our largest adversary and have lost 0 American troops in the process.

This is the correct answer. They also have a very zero sum mentality so they believe that bc we fund Ukraine we can’t fund other things despite it being a very small portion of our budget.
