If you want a better allegory, ants thrive and work together for the good of the colony. All ants receive enough to live, there is no inequality in the colony, and they all serve their niche. A single ant is weak, and a colony is powerful. Ants are communist.

Apart from all the badass niches ants fill, there’s also some super weird evolutionary quirks some have! Some with gamergates (scientific term, not the weird chud drama) instead of queens are able to be sustained indefinitely, unaffected by genetic degradation caused by inbreeding.
