
Hmm. For Iran and Iraq I say it with a mix of how it’s supposed to be pronounced and a standard American accent. Like “ee-rahn” (no r roll, a sounds kind of like in “mall” but not really, a bit higher). For Qatar, a few months ago, I started saying it just like how it’s supposed to natively be pronounced. I used to say “ka-TAAR” but switched, and Americanizing the proper pronunciation like “cutter” just sounds weird
