 I usually don’t interact with this community, but it’s worth saying. 1) why is the Democrat party Instagram that important to you? And 2) When synagogues get attacked there is a lot of news coverage, as there should be. Attacking religious sites is wrong.

I do not understand why there has to be a persecution complex/oppression Olympics here. Mosques and Synagogues being attacked are both tragic

I think what he’s saying is why did the democrats (the party that is all for equity and inclusion) make a post for the Islamic center in San Diego but they didn’t post for the shooting in Detroit, or shooting in DC, or the stabbing in LA, or the beating in Manhattan, or any of the other acts of violence towards Jews in America. Why are Jews excluded in the whole “DEI” conversation? Especially when antisemitism and anti Jewish discrimination is on the rise.

i think you can tell by the response in the community how heavily we disagree with what OOP said. the attack on the mosque yesterday is very tragic. i hope the muslim community there can find a way to heal. the muslim community where i live was so kind and supportive after we had a major attack on our of synagogues and helped raise money for repairs. i will never forget that kindness.

even my most hardcore right wing jewish friends don’t view muslims in a bad light at all. my one friend who is lowkey very radical speaks highly of muslims and arabs. most of us just want to coexist with others in peace and view the religion of islam as one similar to ours.
