She was never the best in the country, but lets not get carried away. She was definitely good at swimming by any objective standard.

I’m sure she was decent, but she is known for having lost and making the rest of her life about the time she lost. Doesn’t matter how good you are if you are most remembered for losing

Tying for 5th with a trans woman and making it your whole personality is wild when Katie Ledecky would wipe the floor with her. The only PB in LCM that Riley has over her is the 50m freestyle (and it’s within 2/10 of a second)

Katie Ledecky would wipe the floor with anyone. Not being as good as Katie Ledecky means nothing. Tying for 5th place in the nation is insanely impressive.
