Israelis/zionists commit genocide, bomb their neighbors unprovoked (Qatar, most recently), consistently violate international and humanitarian laws, and they excuse it all per their religion. We aren’t they being called Jewish extremists?

Bc it’s unique to a state. Jewish extremism does not exist anywhere else in the world besides Israel.

It’s also more of an ethnic conflict, with religious overtones. Ethnicity is the central issue behind Israel’s behavior

This right here. It’s Israelis who are doing it, not average Jews. Calling it “Jewish extremism” would do nothing but polarize the many good Jewish people who don’t support Israel and potentially fuel antisemitic attacks on innocent people

Overall I agree these labels are harmful. But when they themselves justify their actions by their religious beliefs, religion is at the heart of it and that’s what it is, Jewish extremism. That’s the same logic by which we apply the term “Islamic extremism”. Because that’s also not the average Muslims

You could replace Jews with Muslims in this sentence and it would still be true, but they don’t get nearly the same grace just bc they’re brown
