Reminder in the past the DOJ has maintained independence from the President so as to not be just a way for the President to prosecute his personal enemies (after stuff like watergate) But obviously that means nothing and Trump obviously controls the DOJ

I mean, it’s just policy not against the law I think So I don’t actually *blame* Trump for it as much … however this is very dictator-esque, weaponizing the justice department against personal enemies But Trump has sued thousands and thousands so honestly he’s been doing that for decades
