With what is happening with Graham Platner, I believe “sexual assault” is a statement used nowadays that really understates what is happening. I don’t want to trigger anyone’s PTSD, but he R-worded her. I want an investigation and to see him on trial.

Please use the full word “rape” and not undermine the severity of the situation here. You’re already talking about rape. Anyone who is sensitive is already thinking about it, being reminded, etc. Switching from rape to “r-word” doesn’t help them. It’s algospeak forced on us by social media to keep advertisers happy and executive’s pockets full of cash.
