You can really tell by the language used by hardcore christians the phrases they were taught that are “thought terminating” and it really saddens me, not even in a cringe atheist way, just like how sad people do this to others

It’s honestly time we stop worrying about being “cringe”. Religion absolutely is a thought killer, and it wreaks psychological torment on the very people who claim that it brings their life joy.

Religion is good in the sense of controlling a major part of the population into conforming to rules. That’s why americas government was initially built using religion as one of the basis.

It’s just like legitimately like watching someone hit a mental wall “why is X good” “Jesus is King, I’ll pray for you” they can’t respond so they double down
