Correct, but we’ve also undone slavery, undone segregation, we’ve made strides toward greatness in the name of equality, we have been to the moon because brilliant BLACK WOMEN made it possible. Yes, the flag represents these things, but it also represents the side of our country that it should: an end to tyranny, an end to inequality, an end to oppression, and the indomitable determination of We the People to be better.

I’m just saying, do NOT let them steal this country and Old Glory from us, because our heritage is one of great pain, but one we used to learn from and become what we are. We have a long way to go, but because I love my country I will ALWAYS criticize her, but be first to defend her too.
