In my experience people from left leaning areas are taught to be scared of republicans (which is partly reasonable because of our past) People from right leaning areas are taught to be scared of liberals (which is partly reasonable due to their attitude)

That’s actually my point. We have had a HORRIFIC history. Which is totally reasonably why you’d look down on red states. At the exact same time. I literally can’t even have a conversation with you jumping to the worst possible conclusion. Blues are still better than reds. But blues can be absolute *miserable people to be around* *while still being right*
