I will never understand people with loud opinions about whether a court case was decided correctly who can’t even answer basic questions about the case if you ask them. Like a scholar devoted their life to this and you didn’t even read the opinion hello?

Media literacy in general has been declining for years. People argue about news articles on Reddit without even reading them. It’s all about the titles

It’s not just media literacy, it’s semantics, legal literacy, common sense, the English language, basic definitions of words. Some of the arguments on this very platform make me think people never truly graduated high school.

I prefer to go straight to Justia (or better yet Lexis cause it has dark mode, but that’s expensive AF if you don’t have free access) but I’m just glad there are people who know what oyez IS lol

I also like Justia and the LLI but both of them have their shortcomings depending on what/how you’re researching. I get access to a couple other places through my uni library too #blessed
