Huge emphasis on this. I’m saying this as someone who’s Jewish and doesn’t fully agree with AIPAC’s stances, but when we place too much focus on “getting AIPAC out of politics,” we forget about real campaign finance reform, which if implemented, is a huge win for environmental and GVP advocates
More Democrats voting in Texas than Republicans is a huge sign. Peltola is the best possible Dem in Alaska who can run. NC is pretty much a lock and ME is very winnable. If we can win those 4 seats we have the Senate. Trump will not have as much of an easy time getting what he wants with a Democratic Senate
Here’s a list of democratic senators and the number of federal judges they’ve voted to confirm in Trump’s second term: Dick Durbin 8, Maggie Hassan 7, Tim Kaine 8, Chris Coons 2, Tammy Duckworth 1, John Fetterman 1, Ruben Gallego 2, Martin Heinrich 1, Mazie Hirono 1, Mark Kelly 3, Angus King 6, Amy Klobuchar 3, Gary Peters 2, Jack Reed 2, Jacky Rosen 2, Adam Schiff 2, Jeanne Shaheen 6, Peter Welch 3, Sheldon Whitehouse 5
Peltola lost in a Red wave year and still not by much. If Paxton is the Republican nominee then Talarico has a chance. Cooper is leading in the polls at an unprecedented rate for a NC Democrat and Platner is mostly leading Mills as well. You mentioned Senators who voted for Trump’s nominees. I’m curious, you named those yes votes but out of how many?
From Schumer: Senator Rubio is an example of a qualified nominee we think should be confirmed quickly. Earlier today, he was unanimously reported out of Committee, with full support from Democrats, and he should be quickly confirmed here on the floor. So today, I will vote yes on Senator Rubio.
