Except in 2020 Trump was the one pushing the vaccine and “Operation Warp Speed” as the end to the pandemic. And there was actually a real threat of people dying

Remind me, how many people were murdered for not getting vaccinated or not wearing masks?

There’s a difference between being shot by law enforcement and getting killed by a virus lmfao

Are conservatives genuinely so special that they think listening to a moron say injecting bleach is safe on live TV to not wanting to have to carry papers or worry about being shot are the same thing?

Doesn’t change peoples personal freedoms were being suppressed people were frowned upon for continuing their livelihoods. Events that happened once in people’s lives were cancelled and they’ll never get it back. If the virus was so deadly why was it okay for people to riot in mass in the name of George Floyd

the blm protests weren't superspreader events. everyone was masked.

There’s an understandable compromise that needs to be made when there’s a serious threat to public health. And we know that the virus doesn’t spread much outside. It’s much worse in enclosed spaces like classrooms

You’re actually delusional if you think BLM protests didn’t spread covid. So much hypocrisy on the left. People weren’t allowed to go to school or do clubs or sports that spring but yeah blm didn’t spread covid

And burning down targets that stops the spread of Covid as well

I never condoned any sort of violence or destruction of property, so that’s a weird response. COVID may have spread at the protests but between most people being masked and the fact stuff was outside, it wasn’t a superspreader like having a house party or sitting in a classroom. There’s plenty of research showing that it spreads far more when there’s no air circulation

I mean we can have a nuanced view of this. I personally think the government went a bit too far on some of the restrictions given what we knew about how Covid spread. How combinations of being outdoors, having good air flow/filtration indoors, covering your nose and mouth, or spreading out basically reduced the risk of transmission to 0. I’m sure people contracted covid at those protests but I also doubt it was that many

Really than Mr Tim Walz who hilariously is suddenly big on being against government overreach shut down public parks during COVID that is outside. And he had a snitch hotline to report neighbors violating Covid protocols

What about vaccine cards that the government forced you to show entering places that is “showing papers”

Shutting down public parks is stupid. I’m not going to defend that. Maybe certain areas where tons of people would gather, but shutting down walking paths and fields is dumb

Whataboutism. You also didn’t get shot or imprisoned for not showing your vaccine card.

You weren’t asked to show those with the threat of arrest, and you could change your status on those cards for free pretty easily

COVID weakens the immune system (forever in most cases) so each subsequent infection is actually easier to get.

Vaccines don’t make you immune to diseases you dingbat, they just make them easier for your body to fight off and therefore have less long-term complications, fewer severe symptoms and lower mortality rates

The CDC never once made the claim that the purpose of the vaccination was to “slow” or “stop” the spread.
