Been thinking about this actually, there’s some validity to these concerns in my opinion. We know that DHS will lie whenever they can to create the narritave they want. Seems like congress is trying to allocate millions of dollars for body cameras that will almost definitely get turned off during ice killings and turned on for any brief moment of protestor ugliness. It’ll just give them the footage they want while creating a false pretense of accountability
