At what point do we take accountability? We need to pour into our communities, do organizing, and be strategic in our voting. Throwing our hands in the air and saying “Kamala pandered to the moderates so im not voting” got us in our current situation
I swear democrats hate winning: They refuse to release the information from their 2024 autopsy so that candidates can learn from past mistakes They refuse to reach out for advice from winning campaigns like Platner’s They keep supporting centrist boomers

Why won’t she try pandering in the other direction like the majority of her party wants

It’s the sane take, but for some reason it’s not the most popular one

She did. She also wasn’t the candidate threatening to gut healthcare, DEI, Education, women’s healthcare, and wasn’t campaigning on militarizing ICE to execute mass deportation. Im not saying Kamala is above critique, she should very well be held to the fire. But as a voter it was stupid to not vote for her considering who the alternative was.

At a certain point, voters want to vote FOR something, not against something else. It’s becoming obvious that “We’re not republicans!” is not a winning message

Ok, Kamala outlined giving new parents a $6000 tax credit for the first 1-3 years of a child’s life, she campaigned on protecting health care, she wanted to build new homes and give new home owners a $25K-50K down payment/tax credit (forgot which one it was) wanted to continue the loan forgiveness that was happening under Biden, and wanted to invest in universal childcare. Those were all things I voted for when voting for Kamala as well as voting against fuck ass Trump
