Can we please stop using the ‘kids in cages’ line to act like ice has been equivalently evil and harmful for the last decade plus? Putting kids in cages was very limited under Obama (72 hr, in cases where trafficking was suspected or the minors were unaccompanied) and you know damn well. It wasn’t 20 days and wide scale family separation as a deterrent

Wym? Idgaf to make democrats look good, nor could I if I tried. My point is that the issues with ice under Biden vs the issues with ice under trump are distinctly different issues with different causes. We should consider that nuance because “both sides bad / all government bad” just isn’t a very useful statement if we wanna fix these issues
