As a radical lib caught living in a red state, I deeply wish we’d have asked the right questions at Nuremberg 60% of us can’t afford a “minimal quality of life.” 10 monopolies control our supermarket. Our consumer & labor protections are dystopian, our infrastructure a gen+ behind. Racism & fear of the outsider thrive when ppl are struggling; Germans voted for Nazis bc “at least they’re different.” The Weimar Republic, while “safer,” was visibly ineffective.. *gestures at the modern DNP*
