has no one considered maybe he should not have tried to walk in front of a moving car
Hypothetically how would you respond if the ICE agent did suffer internal bleeding from being hit? I’m genuinely curious what the reaction would be.

This guy now has a pattern of intentionally putting himself in obviously dangerous situations involving cars.

Sorry, not sure what post/comment you’re referring to, but during a prior traffic stop in Bloomington the same agent intentionally punched in a window on a car and held onto the inside door handle. All this, while the driver was behind the wheel, with the engine on. It doesn’t take a genius or highly trained officer to know that’s a dumbass idea, so he’s unqualified through and through for this line of work.

I’d posted this earlier today but damn dude I didn’t realize he was trying that hard to find an excuse

Yikes, I definitely didn’t see that. Sad to say I would absolutely believe it. On the other hand, I think it boils down to gross incompetence. I’m not so sure he or most other agents are intelligent enough and can critically think in high stress situations to be able to plot that. I do think they’re constantly itching to kill or seriously injure people, though.

Some vets come back and get nostalgic. Maybe the pistol didn’t hit like the machine gun used to—but I think this is a man who just loves the rush.

Going through combat like that objectively changes your brain chemistry. You’ll inevitably view human life as less valuable, because you’re trained and experienced in doing so. We need to give veterans jobs, but not jobs where they can wear a mask, carry a gun, and shoot it indiscriminately.
