i mean for europeans, perhaps europe. a pan-european movement guided by socialism. similar to how Africans in diaspora developed pan-Africanism as a response to being stolen from their lands and being forced to work in stolen lands

There is a land back movement it just isn’t what orangutan is talking about. First major push right now is to return federally administered public lands (for example many national parks ) to indigenous nations for them to run. In other words, the goal is to give native nations government and administrative control over their ancestral lands so that they are able to fully benefit from and enjoy them.

There’s more to it than that and other goals further down the line but it’s a very cool movement that’s worth looking into!

yes, there’s practical Land Back, but truthfully europeans have no claim to the land, and myself as a european do think that *all* of the land should be returned and us europeans should move back to our continent of origin. i lay no claim to occupied land

And I, who’s family haven’t been in Europe for almost 400 years, have no claim to Irish land. You can do what you want but this whole proposition of all white people leaving for Europe or whatever is wildly impractical on number of levels. More importantly, I’ve only ever heard it from performative white people wanting a pat on the back, not from actual native activists.

I’m ngl deporting African-Americans to Africa and deporting Europeans to Europe sounds extremely racist 💀 Especially for us mixed race people who are partly native but not entirely (which is basically most Hispanics nowadays lol)
