Whether you can speak it or not is literally not the point. It’s that MAGA is concerned enough to try and make English the official language.

Yes because road signs are in English and people need to be able to speak English and read English in order to be able to read them and properly drive.

Valid to an extent. But there are many road signs in the U.S. that are in French, Spanish, and Indigenous languages. So I also call bs. The real reason they want English as the official language is because they think everyone will be forced to speak English anytime, anywhere. They want a homogeneous culture, which is impossible.

Mind you, this still has nothing to do with the fact that MAGA still use Spanish at times despite the fact many hate it when spoken in public.
