Overall education standards are plummeting. tbh I started ranting about mewgenics but i genuinely believe this shit was created with a sneaky ass purpose to desensitize the population to the concept of eugenics itself, by packaging it with “cutesy” and “alt” artwork and music for teens+young adults.

tbh that’s a great point, and I guess most games with complex breeding mechanics do enable this behavior of the user has access to direct control over it, but mewgenics is definitely a bit of its own level. It was intentionally created as a play on eugenics😭 even if he had no nefarious intentions at heart, he didn’t realize how dangerous it is to make a game about performing eugenics on another species in a time where white supremacists and fascists are attempting to consolidate power again🤦
