Nah it’s probably ass. I understand #2’s point, but it’s ultimately equivalent to yelling at a neighbor for using a plastic straw. Just as the fossil fuel companies wish for the average citizen to cannibalize one another rather than focus their efforts toward those with systemic responsibility, so too would OpenAI prefer for you to focus your vitriol toward those without any influence or stake in the problem. We aren’t solving anything by attacking our peers without power to change things.
