Police in the US do stem largely from slave patrols. When the government decides to crackdown they will use the police to enforce curfews and confiscate paraphernalia including weapons

so this entire post is just a right winger acting like hes left wing with some absurdist take. "law enforcement" is not a bad thing. laws exist to keep some form of order, and they have to be enforced. the right winger is conflating our diabolically evil police system with a just and sane "law enforcement."
