Current majority/minority and situation aside, a good fix would be to refuse paying each party on an alternating weekly basis until it’s resolved. If we start with the majority party first, it would force them to move toward the middle on the budget. If the minority party’s demands are too extreme, they’d need to move toward center as well. After a week passes for each party, don’t pay either until it’s resolved.

Fuck that, none of them get paid and they’re locked into the capital building until it’s fixed. Don’t want Ted Cruz going on his 5th trip to Tijuana this year instead of doing his job
