A woman is someone who fits the complex social category of “woman” it’s very complicated and I don’t fully understand it because the social complexities of gender isn’t really my specialty.

I’m trying to prove that definitions can be complicated and many things are defined more by social understandings than by dictionary definitions. I’d love to talk about the complexities of gender and what a woman is but something tells me you don’t want to have that conversation. If you do, than I was wrong and would be more than happy to discuss it.

Well what is the “complex social category of ‘woman’”? We have a clear delineation of sex, being chromosomes. Yes, there are abnormalities and outliers, but that occurs is every aspect of life. If we don’t live in a society where we can use definitions, we can’t function as a society at all

Because you need to be able to discuss things at a base level and have delineators. If we don’t define what a woman is, we can’t define a woman’s restroom, sports, health care products or bodily functions. You can have a baseline definition of a woman and acknowledge outliers. A chair isn’t at risk of its spaces being infiltrated by other inanimate objects, women are at that risk
